Employee Benefits
As an employee, the Anne Carlsen Center for Children offers a complete benefits package to full- and part-time employees.

MEDICAL PLAN
You and Anne Carlsen Center for Children share the cost of any coverage you elect. Coverage levels include employee only, employee and spouse, employee and child(ren) and employee, family.
DENTAL PLAN
You and Anne Carlsen Center for Children share the cost of any coverage you elect. Levels include employee only and family coverage.
VISION PLAN
You and Anne Carlsen Center for Children share the cost of any
coverage that you elect. You may choose to use a provider from a
network of providers through VSP or a you may choose a provider
of your choice. Coverage levels include employee only, employee
and spouse, employee and child(ren) and full family.
LIFE INSURANCE
Anne Carlsen Center for Children will provide a basic coverage of 1x the employee's salary (minimum of $25,000, maximum of $50,000). Employees may purchase additional coverage and also may purchase additional coverage for eligible dependents.
ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT
Anne Carlsen Center for Children provides a basic coverage of 1x the employee's salary (minimum of $25,000, maximum of $50,000). Employees may purchase additional coverage to equal two, three or four times their annual salary and also may purchase additional coverage for eligible dependents.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS
The employee may choose dependent care and/or health care flexible spending account(s). The flexible spending account(s) is deducted from your paycheck on a pretax basis, which means income tax savings for you on federal, state and Social Security taxes.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The employee assistance program is a referral service provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield that assists employees and their families in resolving personal or work-related issues.
401(k) RETIREMENT
An employee may choose to participate in a retirement account on a pre-tax basis through Wells Fargo Financial. After six months of service and at least 500 hours worked, Anne Carlsen Center for Children will match up to 4 percent of employees' salaries.
TIME OFF PROGRAMS Anne Carlsen Center for Children automatically provides the benefits at no cost to eligible employees:
- Paid Time Off - the PTO program gives employees paid time away from work for sick, vacation, holidays, bereavement and other personal time
- Short Term Disability - the disability plan provides benefits to protect your income if you become unable to work due to an illness or injury
- Long Term Disability - the disability plan provides benefits to protect your income if you become unable to work due to an illness or injury and have exhausted the STD benefit
