Student newspaper hot off the press

ACCC students are now publishing The Monarch, a bi-monthly newspaper for students, by the students. The five older classrooms are responsible for two to three articles per classroom, with the Classroom Focus articles rotation among all eight classrooms.

Students meet during their Learning Center times and use the Intellikeys and overlays, scanning and switches, or verbal communication to select their article content and write their articles.

Some students help with the typing. Some are photographers and others help with the copying and distribution.
