Fall 2006

ACCC Art Camp

In its fourth year, ACCC’s 2006 summer camp gave 25 campers an opportunity to explore different art forms. When needed, adaptations helped them express themselves through painting, sculpture, photography and music.

Rachel Sorenson, Dickinson, N.D., gets help with her art project from a toy cow with feet dipped in paint. Rachel activated a switch, connected to the cow, and it walked over her canvas.

Michelle Bergstedt, Wimbledon, N.D., used a camera, mounted to her wheelchair, to take pictures of camp activities for one art project.

A spinning canvas made it easier for many of the campers to create fun pieces of artwork.

Adair Hartze of Fargo, N.D., proudly displayed his art projects at an art show on the last day of camp.
