Large number join tree

It was a record year for the Anne Carlsen Tree of Life in 2005 with 37 donors names joining the tree, the largest single number to join at one time. In 2004, 18 businesses and individuals were added.

The Tree of Life recognizes individuals and businesses that have contributed at least $5,000 to Anne Carlsen Center for Children. There are now 879 names on the tree. Those who request to be anonymous are not included in this number.

The names on the tree represent over $58 million in donations given to the Center since 1940, when founders began raising money to build.

“We are very blessed to have faithful donors who are committed to helping us forward our mission to help the children we serve live life to its fullest potential,” said Foundation Executive Director Kevin Cooper. “These individuals are a testament to the lives we touch. Their generosity gives this organization the opportunity to do so much more for the children than we would otherwise be able to.”
