ACCC adding SLP, aide to meet demand

Anne Carlsen Center for Children currently has two openings in its speech language therapy department, a result of increased demand for speech services.

ACCC is hiring a speech language pathologist and a speech language pathology aide to help meet the growing needs. Both are full-time positions and eligible for benefits.

Speech Language Pathologist
Will work with clients, age birth to 21, in a residential school setting and provide outpatient therapy services. Caseload to include clients with a variety of disabilities (autism, cerebral palsy, medically fragile, hearing impaired, developmental delays). Must have a ND teaching certificate, be eligible for ND licensure and C.C.C. or C.F.Y. from ASHA.

Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Will work under the supervision of speech language pathologists in a residential school setting and in providing outpatient therapy. Must have a four-year degree in communication disorders or related field or have met state licensing requirements.
