Club funds outdoor enhancements at ACCC

Members of the Individuals and Ladies Individuals MC who presented Anne Carlsen Center for Children with a $2,000 donation were George Quigley, Marty Gray, Laurie Hayes, Shad Kreil, Dawn Sturgis, Tyler Sturgis, Penny Lee, Keith Lee, Jeremy Gray, and Nicole Gray.

Anne Carlsen Center for Children received a $2,000 donation Sept. 26 from the Individuals and Ladies Individuals MC to help fund enhancements to its nature trail area.

The nature trail is an outdoor area located behind the Center's main building that provides an accessible aesthetic environment for the children to enjoy. Features of the trail include a brick walking path, benches tucked into the trees and a pond.

The donation, said Club president Dawn Sturgis, is from money raised during its Christmas in July benefit run. The clubs want the money to be used to enhance the area to provide the children even more enjoyment from the area.

Each year, as part of the Christmas in July benefit run, club members and run participants bring gifts to the children and ACCC and share time with them.
