Intellitools Classroom Suite

Brief Description:
This two day class provides hands-on training in the cross platform suite of IntelliPics Studio 3, IntelliMathics 3, and IntelliTalk 3. These are easy-to-use, cross-curricular authoring and presentation tools. This workshop helps participants develop and use applications including:

  • Curriculum-based activities
  • Answer tracking and assessment
  • Creativity and self-expression

Objective:
Participants will be given an in-depth look at the Intellitools Classroom Suite and receive hands-on experience with each of the three tools, creating personalized products. Participants will be given ideas and suggestions on how to utilize the Suite when adapting curriculum and creating classroom activities.

Audience:
Special education teachers, regular education teachers, para-professionals, support staff

Length:
15 hours over 2 days

Presenters:
Mark Coppin is the manager of the ACCC LEarning Center. He gradated from Moorhead State University with degrees in special education and speech communications (radio/TV/film production). He has been with the Center for 17 years. He has presented numerous workshops both locally and nationally on various aspects of technology.
Theresa Hanson is the ACCC Learning Center Technology Specialist. A graduate of Jamestown College, she has been at the Center for 9years and has experience with various aspects of assistive technology and its application into the education setting as a regular education classroom teacher and in her role as technology specialist.

Cost:
$150 per person. 6 person minimum.
Per diem travel fee of $1 per mile/per presenter to and from Jamestown.
