Make Them Laugh

Brief Description:
So yo know that laughing 15 seconds adds days to your life span? What better too to bring to your classroom!

Objective:
Presenters will introduce the audience to a wide variety of technology, from hi-tech to low-tech, as a way to involve students in school activities. Participants will leave with many new ideas, tips, and motivations to begin using immediately. And they'll be laughing then the leave! Day-long sessions feature make-n-take projects.

Audience:
Special education teachers, regular education teachers, para-professionals, support staff

Length:
1 hour, 4 hour, 1 day, 2 day

Presenters:
Mark Coppin is the manager of the ACCC LEarning Center. He has been with the Center for 17 years. He has presented numerous workshops both locally and nationally on various aspects of assistive technology.
Theresa Hanson is the ACCC Learning Center Technology Specialist. A graduate of Jamestown College, she has been at the Center for 9years and has experience with various aspects of assistive technology and its application into the education setting as a regular education classroom teacher and in her role as technology specialist.
Sharon Olson is the early childhood special education teacher at ACCC with an array of experience incorporating both humor and technology into her classroom. She has presented at many conferences on various aspects of incorporating simple techniques into a classroom for children with special needs.

Cost:
1 hour: $300
4 hour: $700
1 day: $1,000
2 day: $2,000
Per diem travel fee of $1 per mile/per presenter and supplies.
