  • Get A Job - Get a Life!: Participants will receive detailed descriptions of effective job development, job carving and client placement as a way to help clients reach success in the workforce. Offered as an overview presentation or more in-depth workshop.
  • How Do the Pieces of Your Life Fit?: The Pieces of Life program is a training and support program to help individuals gain personal development with emphasis on daily living, personal-social needs and occupational skills. Presenters will share information on duplicating this program.
  • GRASPing for More: This presentation will assist professionals who want to start or enhance a vocational services program and provide useful forms and tips for student interest surveys. Presenters will also give participants ideas of unique assessment sites to consider.
  • Transition Tips and Other Stuff to Worry… Think About: This presentation provides participants a wide variety of ways to assist or support someone with a disability to be more  independent and able to self-advocate. The presenter shares low cost, practical tips and ideas when looking at areas of transition including life skills, social skills, community participation, leisure, and life-long learning.
  • Success in a Suitcase: Have you ever felt like you are just out of ideas for vocational or leisure activities? Anne Carlsen Center for Children professionals have developed suitcases with examples and ideas for you to use. These tips will be helpful as you prepare students with disabilities for employment opportunities and community living upon completion of their educational program.
